Become a volunteer chef at the Church's Korshær – make a difference with your food!

Every Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM we prepare hot meals for up to 65 of the city's most vulnerable citizens . As a volunteer in the kitchen, you will become an important part of the team that ensures that no one goes to bed hungry.

You will be responsible for the cooking together with our kitchen manager and a corps of committed volunteers. Together we create both nutrition and presence – and you will also get a unique opportunity to make classic “sausage” for people who really need it.

We imagine that you:

• Is stable and meets on time

• Have experience from a kitchen (preferably from a commercial kitchen or similar)

• Able to work independently and keep a cool head in busy situations

• Want to make a real difference for others

You don't need a hygiene course or formal education – we'll teach you what you need to know.

The most important thing is your commitment and desire to give your fellow humans a meal and a sense of community.
