Your primary task will be to select quality clothing from ordinary recycled clothing and prepare it to be sent out to our more than 100 recycled stores throughout the country.
You decide whether you want to help 4, 6 or 8 hours a week (day or evening) in our small, cozy sorting center.
Other sweet sorting volunteers are on hand, so you won't be alone.
How does it work?
We have sorting teams of four people both during the day and evening hours. You will be trained in sorting and given the guidance you need. We are very keen that volunteering with us is both fun and rewarding, in addition to making a huge difference to the world's most vulnerable people.
You decide whether you want to help 4, 6 or 8 hours a week – day or evening – in our cozy sorting center.
The sorting center is located at:
Herstedvang 10, 2620 Albertslund
There is parking right at the door and good access to public transport.
The clothes you help sort will be sold in DanChurchAid's Recycled and Wefood stores, and the profits will go to our work for people in the world's hotspots.
You will...
Opportunity to make a difference for people in need
Socializing with nice and helpful colleagues
Possibility to plan your own hours and holidays
We hope...
That you are quality conscious and interested in textiles/fashion
That you are responsible and reliable
That you want to make a difference and contribute to the good atmosphere
Maybe you are...
