Volunteers wanted for Sunday cooking

Do you enjoy cooking – and would you like to please others with a warm meal and presence?
We are looking for volunteers who would like to help cook dinner for the residents at our shelter on Sundays.

Often the women want to prepare dishes from their own culture - and here, as a volunteer, you can help support, encourage and create a safe environment in the kitchen.

It doesn't require that you be a gourmet chef - just that you want community, the smells of a multicultural kitchen and the meaningfulness of providing a space through food and presence.

Time: Sunday, 3:30 PM-7 PM

Who are you?

You are empathetic and listen and have understanding for people in difficult life situations.

You are not moralistic and can be accommodating to everyone.

You have the option to commit to at least six months to ensure stability with the target group.

You have a clean child and criminal record.
