Run Between the Houses - Aarhus' most fun and friendly family run!

On Saturday, September 13th, we will be holding the fifth Run Between the Houses in Gellerup's beautiful city park. The race is an adventure race for families with children, where everyone – regardless of age and physical condition – can take part. The 5 km and 1.5 km (One Mile) routes take participants through some of the finest and most surprising green gems the area has to offer. Along the way, there will be plenty of entertaining features and a festive atmosphere, and there will be a city party on the square with music and activities for both children and adults.

Løb Mellem Husene is much more than a race – it is the city festival of the year, where residents of Gellerup and Toveshøj proudly show off their district to the rest of Aarhus. The support is great, and last year over 850 runners participated – and even more made their way past the festival site. This year we expect even greater support.
And the more the race grows – the more volunteers we need.

Important dates
Run Between Houses 2025 Aarhus will be held on Saturday, September 13th from 1-4 pm . Volunteer tasks are between 10 am and 5 pm, and their duration is typically between one and a half to four hours.

Therefore, you should volunteer:

• Help show Aarhus a new side of Gellerup – with green oases, community and life
• Become part of a great team and meet new people
• Have a fun day with good vibes and happy people
• You will receive: Volunteer t-shirt, food, drinks and lots of good energy!

What should I do?
We have many different volunteer tasks – for every taste! For example, you can:

• Be a guide and send good energy and cheer to the runners on the route
• Help send the runners off in the correct order
• Provide food, drinks and a good atmosphere in the volunteer area
• Hand out fruit, water, and medals (and give high fives) in the finish area
