Purpose - To support the café by providing quality coffee and drinks for the customers of the café.
Assignments - Working in the cafe bar is like working in a typical coffee shop. You will be serving customers by taking orders, preparing coffee drinks on the espresso machine, preparing cold drinks like smoothies and then serving them to the customers. Also, you will be assisting with clearing tables, doing dishes, and cleaning the bar according to the proper hygiene standards.
Difference - By making quality coffee you will help support the projects of the café. Also, when working behind the bar you will have many opportunities to talk to and connect with the customers - and obvious you will be big part of making a profit that we can donate.
Community - There is a strong partnership and family feeling that is among all of the volunteers of the café. You will be accepted as one of the family, while also helping to provide that feeling to the customers.
Training - All training is done on the job. You will be taught all the basics during your first shift. Also, you will need to complete approval with hygiene to work with food.
Frequency - We ask our volunteers to work 1 shift a month.
