You can become the exercise friend if you want to:
As the exercise friend you come home to an elderly person in Frederiksberg who wants help with exercise. You mutually agree what to do and when you meet. It will typically be about 1-2 hours once a week, and the activity can be, for example, chair gymnastics in the home or just a walk in the immediate area. The exercise part will often be followed by a good talk and togetherness.
Who can join?
The schedule is arranged by the Elder Case and is for everyone who wants and time to be a part of the above. You have the opportunity to take part in a training course for older people. Older case is available throughout the process with support and guidance. It therefore requires no great experience with training and exercise.
In order to ensure a meaningful and safe relationship, it is desirable that you have the opportunity to be the exercise friend for a minimum of one and a half years - though taking into account your needs.
There will be a cozy and informal information meeting for volunteers on February 28, 2019. However, it is possible to become the exercise friend without attending the meeting.
