We start a new project in continuation of Café Paraplyen's social café.
Would you like to join?
Café Paraplyen has approx. 90 volunteers are involved, and many of the volunteers give a hand to a little of each for the guests who come into the house daily.
Some of the help is to help drive the café - where the good community arises. Others help more specifically with computer or mobile phone - others help with letters, finances or law issues.
This new project is to help with eg:
- to hang any pictures
- to join the dentist
- to go to the museum
- to go for a walk in Frederiskberg Garden
- to go to the library
to meet for coffee in the umbrella or at KU: BE, or maybe along the harbor
Maybe one can find something that both are interested in? It's about communities and about creating something together that gives life-enthusiasm and courage to new things.
We imagine that everyone needs a little help when "life goes a bit against us" - and a little help from someone else can make the world different. You have to commit yourself for a periode of 6 months for this particular projekt.
