"I was so happy when I saw that what I had brought had been taken. I didn't think anyone would want my old pants." - Elsebeth

"Great arrangement. We got some great stuff to take home and got rid of some of the things that had been gathering dust for long time. And it was great to see our own dusty, discarded things go in a new family."  - Fenja

These were the words from a few of the many participants who participated at last years Swap-markets. Now, it's time again, when "Foreningen Byttemarked Aarhus" (Assosiation Swap-Market Aarhus) to present a Swap market

  • It takes place:Saturday, April 27th, from 10:00 to 14.00 in Stakladen at Aarhus University.

To make it happen we once again need some fresh people to give a hand and be part of our great swap-team. We need volunteers in the time period 9.00-15-00, and the day will be divided into two shifts:

  • First shift (opening shift): 9:00 to 12:15
  • Second shift (closing shift): 12:00 to approximately 15:00

The market is open from 10.00 to 14.00, so at 9:00 there will be a briefing / coffee before setting up tables, hanging up signs, etc. so that we will be ready to "open" at 10:00. After 14:00 pm, when the market closes, the remaining things will be packed into bags and passed on to charities. You are more than welcome to come for more than one shift. We hope that there will be many who will sign op as volunteers. Volunteers are the driving force behind our great markets and therefore they cannot exist without! :)
